Visiting Regulations
The organisers contract with celebrity presenters to attend the show and to give free seminars at certain times during the day as detailed in the show catalogue and on the official show website. No gaurantee of appearance is given by the organisers and times and the presenters advertised are subject to change without prior notice, or not to appear if circumstances outside the control of the show organiser occure.
Refreshments / food
The organisers provide a free bacon butty breakfast to bona-fide show visitors up to 11.00am on the show open day, but this is always subject to availability and no gaurantee is given that based on certain circumstances this arrangement may be curtailed or cancelled at the absolute discretion of the organiser. The organisers may also provide a free light lunch with a choice of tea or coffee to bona-fide visitors who are either group travel organisers or coach operators, this also includes show exhibitors and their associates and staff. The organisers reserve the right to curtail or cancell this free facility without prior notice at its absolute discretion. In addition, paid food and beverage facilities are available during the show open period.
Canvassing for orders by any unauthorised persons is strictly prohibited, and in any such case the right of expulsion will be exercised immediately. The distribution or display of printed or other placards, hand bills or circulars, or magazines, except by exhibitors on their own stands is prohibited. Third party materials are not to be circulated at the show without the prior written permission of the Organisers.
No object exhibited may be drawn, copied or reproduced in any manner whatsoever without the written consent of the exhibitors concerned and the show organisers.
Accredited press or media visiting the show must go to the Organisers office upon entering the exhibition floor to sign in and collect any materials. You must obtain permission from the Organisers before taking photographs or video footage within the exhibition hall. Members of the press or media who have not received accreditation will be asked to provide a business card and proof of ID should they wish to enter the show. Please note that only bona fide editorial personnel will be allowed access to the exhibition and media sales representatives are not allowed in to the show.
Please note that photographs and videos will be taken at this event for publicity purposes which may be used either during the event or over the post-event period. By attending this event as either a visitor, exhibitor or contractor, or in any other capacity, consent to use any images of attendees for promotional purposes by Yandell Media Group’s is implied. Such promotional use may include magazines, promotion literature, advertising, galleries, video coverage, social media, websites and poster artwork, and any other medium deemed appropriate by the organisers. Note: you are able to contact Yandell Media Group or YPL Exhibitions & Events in writing to withdraw your consent at any time.
Although teaching staff are allowed access into the show, following post show feedback we do not permit students to attend.
Information submitted to the Organiser, including any individual’s name, will be kept on computer and may be used for the purposes registered under the General Data Protection Regulations.
During your visit to Group Leisure & Travel Show, you may be scanned by one or more exhibitors. By allowing your badge to be scanned by an exhibitor, you consent to us sharing your data with that exhibitor.
Please note that this exhibition is a non-smoking event and no smoking will be allowed on stands or within the aisles and seating areas or at the show entrance. Those wishing to smoke must do so only within a permitted area. Thank you for your co-operation.
Car Parking
S1 parking has been allocated to visitors arriving by car and using the carpark during the period of the exhibition and is free of charge. However, please note you will be required to enter your car registration on iPads located inside the venue to avoid any parking charges.
Competitions
Offered and organised by exhibiting companies:
Any competitions, prize draws or special promotions run by exhibitors are the responsibility of the exhibiting company, and between the visitor(s) and exhibitor. The Group Leisure & Travel Show does not accept any responsibility.
Organised and offered by the Group Leisure & Travel Show:
From time to time, the Group Leisure & Travel Show (GLT Show) will also organise and runs various competitions or prize draws for its visitors to enter. These competitions / prize draws can and will be promoted across the Group Leisure & Travel media portfolio. The terms and conditions associated with these competitions / prize draws are:
- Competitions / prize draws run by the GLT Show are free to enter unless specified.
- All competitions / prize draws, unless specified, are open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of Yandell Publishing Ltd (organiser of the GLT Show), their families, agents and anyone else connected with the competition promotion.
- Entry criteria may apply (e.g. the competition / prize draw is only open to group travel organisers and not people working for travel trade providers such as tour operators, attractions, etc). This will be clearly stated.
- Deadlines will be stated and competitions / prize draws will close at any time on the date shown. Therefore entries should be received before this date to guarantee inclusion.
- The GLT Show and Yandell Publishing Ltd accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach us by the relevant closing date for any reason.
- Only one entry per person.
- To enter fill in your details as directed on the relevant entry forms.
- All correctly completed entries will be entered, with a winner(s) or runners-up drawn randomly by the GLT Show team.
- Prizes are clearly stated on each competition / prize draw and are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the GLT Show and any relevant partners reserve the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice.
- The winner(s) will be notified via email or telephone following the competition / prize draw deadline and draw. Winners who do not respond within 7 days of being notified (or any deadline given) may lose their prize, which will then be offered to a substitute winner.
- The GLT Show will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the competition / prize draw, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the GLT Show and its parent company for the purposes of the administration of the draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. Winner details may be passed on to a competition / prize draw partner if one is involved and if this is required, in order for the prize to be organised.
- The winner(s) agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
- The GLT Show may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions or if it is believed that the entrant has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the competition / prize draw, manipulating entries, hacking, deceiving, or cheating.
- By entering any competitions or prize draws run by the GLT Show or other media within the Group Leisure & Travel portfolio, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
