Antiques Roadshow’s Eric Knowles to speak at Group Leisure & Travel Show

Antiques expert Eric Knowles will make a welcome return to the Seminar Theatre at the Group Leisure & Travel Show this year, to talk about interesting and historic venues for group visits.

Best-known for his TV appearances on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and Bargain Hunt, Eric is a recognised expert when it comes to the world of antiques.

A very popular speaker ten years ago at the 2016 Group Leisure & Travel Show, Eric said he is looking forward to returning and sharing more ideas and great venues with GTO visitors.

Eric’s TV credits include Going for a Song, Going, Going, Gone, Noel’s House Party, Call My Bluff and Restoration Roadshow, which he presented for several weeks in 2020. He has also appeared on Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is as well as Clash of the Collectables.

He is an Ambassador for the Princes Trust and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has given many lectures in the UK over the years at the likes of the V&A and the British Museum. He is also an author with a variety of books to his credit and his main interest tends to be ceramics and glass.

Another celebrity speaker for the 2026 GLT Show will be announced in the near future.
