With more exhibitors signing up for the Group Leisure & Travel Show 2018, we catch up with some of them to see what they’re anticipating at this year’s event at the NEC on Thursday 11th October.

Group organisers, coach operators and travel buyers can look forward to another busy and successful show with a wide range of exhibitors on hand to offer inspiration, advice and offers.

Here, just a handful of the exhibitors already signed up, tell us about how they’re gearing up for the biggest group travel event of its kind in the UK:

  1. Switzerland Travel Centre

Robyn Jones, head of groups, said: “Switzerland is a fantastic destination for groups and we’re really looking forward to sharing all that is on offer with organisers at this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Show. Whether you have been to Switzerland before, or are looking for something different, there’s plenty to see and do. We’ve been working hard creating new itineraries for special interest groups such as rail enthusiasts, walkers, classic car owners and more – we have plenty of ideas to share with you!  The exhibition at the NEC provides the perfect platform to showcase the destination and is an ideal opportunity to meet new and existing customers.”

  1. Berrys Coaches

Nicola Blackmore, transport manager, said: “We’re looking forward to another successful show at the NEC this October. It’s a great chance to network and to provide inspiration for many of our holidays, short breaks and excursions for group travel organisers looking to book their next trip. Events like the Group Leisure & Travel Show are essential for the group travel industry and it provides a perfect opportunity to raise our long-established profile.”

  1. Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns

Lucy Dowson, tourism development manager, said: ““We’re really looking forward to meeting a host of group travel organisers again at this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Show including those who may not have visited Buckinghamshire & The Chilterns before or GTOs looking for something new to discover. Buckinghamshire & The Chilterns provide a perfect year-round destination and our team will be on hand to speak with group travel organisers to plan a trip to the county that suits their group’s interests and needs.”

  1. The Eden Project

Jon Mitchelmore, sales coordinator, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Show at the NEC. It provides an ideal opportunity to meet many group travel organisers and talk to them about what’s on offer at the Eden Project. Our team will again be on-hand at the 2018 exhibition in October to help GTOs plan their itineraries and discover why the visitor attraction is dubbed ‘the Eighth Wonder of the World’.”

  1. Mackenzie Hotels

Maria Cooper, operations manager said: “We’re really looking forward to showcasing our three very distinctive hotels set in the stunning north Norfolk coast and countryside at this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Show. We’ll be on hand to speak to group travel organisers and to suit accommodation to their requirements and to discuss the various options for special breaks and offers at the exhibition.”
