There’s so many exhibitors at this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Show that it’s hard to know who and what to look out for on your way around the event. We’ve selected some of the things to keep an eye out for during your visit to this year’s show which takes place on Thursday at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes.

  1. The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)
Group travel organisers can meet the RHS team at Stand 537 to pick up a free packet of seeds so visitors can spruce up their own gardens at home. You’ll also be able to pick up the new RHS 2020 Group Travel Guide. The team will be sharing details of some brilliant opportunities available for group visits at all RHS Gardens and RHS Flower Shows, along with updating visitors all about the exciting developments of the newest RHS Garden for 17 years, RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford. Plus, you’ll hear about the new garden’s phase one opening group visits in September 2020.

2. Jubilee Market Covent Garden
For great present ideas, hand-made crafts and more, Jubilee Market Covent Garden will be giving away free gifts and supplying raffle tickets for visitors to win goodies. The market offers a year-round eclectic mix of traders selling a wide assortment of products, and it’s under cover so don’t let the rain put you off. Visitors can learn more from the team on the day at Stand 307.

3. Belvoir Castle
Did you know the beautiful Belvoir Castle doubles as Windsor Castle in Netflix’s The Crown? For a unique castle tour, the team offers costumed guides who will be delighted to show visitors around either at the castle or on the Capability Brown’s bus tours – adding a unique step back into history. Although the team may not be dressed to the nines on the day of the show at Stand 545, they’ll be on-hand to inspire you on your next group visit which brings history to life.

Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire is a top day out for groups.

4. Group Leisure & Travel magazine
Have you registered on the all-new Group Leisure & Travel website yet? It’s free, easy to do and unlocks other benefits such as saving stories to read as and when you want to. The team will be available throughout the day at Stand 233 to give a demo on how the new website can help you. As an extra incentive for registered website users, they’ll be giving away an iPad too, making it easier to access our website. Be sure to drop in and say hello.

5. If you’re feeling peckish…
What better way to start the day than with a bacon butty? Those who arrive at the show before 11am will be able to get their hands on one – be quick though, because once they’re gone they’re gone.

You’ll find lots of brilliant ideas for your next group trip at the 2019 Group Leisure & Travel Show on Thursday. Don’t worry if you haven’t signed up to visit just yet because you can still pre-register here.
