With only one month left until this year’s Group Leisure & Travel Show, we look at what makes it so special and what you can expect when visiting.

The Group Leisure & Travel Show is a great place to meet like-minded people, travel experts, industry officials and above all, make new friends and catch up with old ones.

This year’s show aims to be even bigger and better than before and will provide you with exhibitor stands, guest speakers and seminars, and plenty of group travel action.

Why visit?

Let’s remind ourselves of all the reasons why the Group Leisure & Travel Show is worth visiting.

There will be a huge range of exhibitors at the show who will be offering great things for groups. Exhibitors range from castle and gardens, to coach companies, to tour operators. Some of the exhibitors you can expect include: Arley Hall and Gardens, Bletchley Park, Shakespeare’s England, Go Windermere, Warner Leisure Hotels, and Kew Gardens.

This year’s seminar programme will involve four talks from travel industry experts and famous names. First up, in the morning of the show, will be news broadcaster, Nicholas Owen who will discuss great rail journeys for groups.

At noon, travel writer and broadcaster, Simon Calder will give his top travel tips for group travel organisers. Then, later in the day you’ll get to hear from historian, Dan Cruickshank, as he talks about brilliant historic locations for groups. Following Cruickshank, will be a talk by television presenter, Chris Beardshaw, on his favourite gardens to visit.

The GLTS is a great place for exhibitors to meet customers and make new connections.

Why exhibit?

We can’t stress enough how beneficial the Group Leisure & Travel Show can be for exhibitors, and there is still time to sign up and book a stand.

Why exhibit, you ask? Not only can you meet potential new customers, but you can engage with existing ones, too. It’s a great chance to see what other companies are offering, meet your competitors, and find out more about the people who use your services.

Not only this but what an ideal place to raise your profile in the company of group organisers who are on the lookout for new tour operators, holiday brands, and hotels and attractions to book. It also provides you with a place to launch new packages as so many will be there to witness what you have to offer.

Companies interested in exhibiting can telephone Sharon Yandell on 01908-613323 for more information or e-mail sharon.y@yandellmedia.com.
