A day at the GLT Show is not just useful, it’s fun too. Here are just some of the things that visitors can expect to spot this year, including competitions and treats to take away.

The Group Leisure & Travel Show is taking place in Hall 19 of Birmingham’s NEC on Thursday 11th October. With a range of wonderful exhibitors, from hotel groups and airlines, to castles and museums, group organisers visiting can expect to find great deals, new contacts and plenty of inspiration for day trips, short breaks, holidays and more.

But the exhibition stands throughout the hall won’t just include information – oh no – there are many exciting and fun activities taking place, plus things you’ll want to get your cameras out for.

Visit the Group Leisure & Travel Magazine stand and you’ll find a giant magazine front cover set up for you to pose with because, let’s face it, you’ve always wanted to be a GLT cover star haven’t you?  Make sure you snap some photos and share them on social media. The magazine says it will publish the best in a future edition.

Attend the Mint, Mine & Vine stand for the launch of a new bespoke Welsh offer. The Royal Mint Experience, Welsh Mining Experience and Llanerch Vineyard have joined forces to bring the bespoke package tour to Wales.

Meet #TeamDevon, as it’s being called, by the team at Devon’s Top Attractions. See what’s new and enter a competition to win a Devon stay. See the facilities, itinerary ideas, prices and joint ticket offers and while you are there, pick up some Devon goodies.

Join the drama over on Continuum Attractions’ stand as new 2019 dates are released for Coronation Street The Tour. Hourly prize draws will also take place for a chance to win visits to one of the nine attractions across the country. You’ll also receive a delicious handmade chocolate courtesy of York’s Chocolate Story.

Visit Leger Holidays’ stand to be in with a chance of winning £500 worth of vouchers to spend on your next Leger holiday. Plus, hop on board the state-of-the-art Luxuria coach.

The Frasers Hospitality stand will be focusing on its locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London. Stop by to try some shortbread, Irn Bru and world famous Tunnock’s Teacakes. They’ll also be giving away lots of prizes and free stay vouchers.

If that’s not enough to get you excited, what is?

And besides these fantastic exhibitors, we have a great line-up of guest speakers throughout the day in our Seminar Theatre.

Hear from Gyles Brandreth, Simon Calder and Carol Klein at this year’s show. Expect advise, stories, trips and get the chance to ask your own questions too. The theatre is open to all visitors and is free.
